| It freaks me out a little that ads are targeted to keywords in your email or on your webpage. It only makes sense from an advertising point of view, but it reminds me of Minority Report...where Tom Cruise's character hears a Gap ad call him by name to remind him that his favorite style of chinos is now on sale (or something to that effect). Gives me the heebie jeebies. If you select a 100 random words...what ad will you see then? | | |
| Surely you've seen these little yellow placards inside the windows of minivans & sedans alike. It really really peeves me to see these placard bearing cars cutting me off & generally driving like jerks. Ugh. I just had to vent.

| Facebook is kinda growing on me, but the thing I miss about xanga is that you don't have to add all these extra applications just to post a video, or let people know what you're watching, listening to, or reading. The applications are innumerable & I can't say that's a positive thing.
Now, I don't really want to keep up two separate sites (by the way, I never can spell "separate" correctly on the first try. I always spell it "seperate" first. You'd think I'd learn? Nope.) up forever. We'll see how long this continues.
Of course, who knows if anyone will even read this post. Maybe that'll be the deciding factor. Or I'll just keep posting for my own satisfaction.

| Isn't it sad when a restaurant you love shuts its doors? There was a little vietnamese pho restaurant in Evanston. I thought it was quite good. There was always a healthy lunch crowd, but I went 'round the other day & it was gone. <sigh> How sad.
I like this Talib Kweli CD better than his last CD, but Reflection Eternal is my favorite so far.

| Today was my first day back to drinking coffee. I gave up coffee a few months ago. It's nice to be back to coffee. Every once in a while it's nice to be off of it. Like any addict, I like to say, "I don't NEEEEED it. I can quit anytime I want." Only, I really want to know that I can quit anytime I want. Moderation is important. Of course, I am lucky that Starbucks is just a short short distance from home, work, and Justin....and almost everywhere in between. | | |
